"When my husband and I decided to build a new home in the low country of
South Carolina we were headed into unknown territory.  We had visited
the area only a couple of times and had not yet developed any acquaintances
to rely on for advice. Our preference was to use a local construction company. 
Walter Construction is one of a handful of local home builders who live
and build on Edisto Island.  After meeting Fisher Walter we were sure
we had a met a man that would fulfill our dreams.

Fisher Walter is a man of integrity.  He built our home as if it were his own.
  Amidst the myriad of decisions he always seem to know just what we wanted.
  It actually got quite funny in the way we would ask him what he liked first
before we actually thought about what we desired.  Fisher has employed
outstanding subcontractors.  Each group became a part of our family.  They are
true craftsman with utmost pride in each element they contributed. 
Building our new home was a wonderful experience in our lives.  We were
so fortunate to have met and become lifelong friends with Fisher and his team
of sub-contractors.  We truly feel blessed to now live in our dream home."
