Fisher Walter and his father began building homes on Edisto in 1985. Fisher has
been here ever since. Never one to want to build cookie cutter homes Fisher
has sought out challenging custom projects helping clients achieve
their vision of what a low country home should be.

Since the beginning Walter Construction has built well over 100 homes ranging from
smaller weekend get a ways to luxurious retirement homes with fantastic detail work.
Many of the original craftspeople still work with Fisher today. He believes that
building a quality home depends upon the skills of the people who work with him.
His success is reflected in what the owners of the homes he builds says:
